I wanted to make something in the Cath Kidston shabby chic style, so here's what I came up with for Challenge no.1:
Items used:
Whisper White card stamped with Botanical Blooms in Real Red and Old Olive
Layer of Bashful Blue spotty paper (distressed edges to look like fabric)
Layer of Whisper White card with hand drawn lines in Real Red and Bashful Blue (distressed edges to look like fabric)
Faux stitching in Ballet Blue
Real Red Grosgrain ribbon
Paper Flower (Green Tara)
Ballet Blue stamped Circle of Friendship sentiment on Whisper White card

You've really captured the Cath Kidston style, this is so pretty.
I love shabby chic (can't do it though!) & this is spot on - nice stamping for the background too - hope you get a DT spot, you deserve it :) Have a lovely weekend xxx
I thought of Cath Kidston as soon as I saw the picture and before I looked at the writing! Inspired use of stamps.
Wow gorgeous card!
